Trail Life USA is a Christ centered, boy focused outdoor adventure program that helps boys grow in character, leadership, practical skills, and Christian conviction. Initial Events and Meetings
The new Trail Life year begins with several important gatherings, all held from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2700 Lawrence Avenue, Lawrence, Kansas. Families are invited to attend the Open House on August 3, where they can learn more about the troop, meet leaders, and ask questions about Trail Life USA. Orientation follows on August 24, providing an opportunity for new families to understand the program, expectations, schedule, and next steps for participation.
Adults interested in helping are encouraged to attend the Training Day for Adults on August 31. Trail Life is strengthened by faithful parents and volunteers who are willing to share their time, skills, and encouragement with the boys. A Leader Meeting will take place on September 7, followed by the first Troop Meeting on September 14, beginning a new season of adventure, formation, and fellowship.
A Steady Monthly Rhythm for Boys and Families
Trail Life Troop KS2315 meets regularly throughout the month. The first Monday of each month is reserved for a Leader Meeting, giving adult volunteers time to prepare, pray, plan, and care well for the troop. The second through fourth Mondays are Troop Meeting nights, while fifth Mondays are kept open.
This regular rhythm gives families a clear and dependable schedule while allowing boys to grow over time. They will have opportunities to learn outdoor skills, build friendships, develop leadership, and take part in activities that challenge both body and mind. Most importantly, Trail Life is rooted in the conviction that boys need more than entertainment. They need a community that calls them to courage, integrity, service, and faithfulness.
