Opportunities for Involvement
Use your time and talents to support our church and serve your neighbor. There are many way to get involve and connect within our congregation.
Worship
Ushers Assist during services with seating, distribution of bulletins, and gathering of the offering.
Greeters Welcome worshipers as they arrive for services.
Flowers Members can sign up to provide flowers for the altar.
Recording the Service Record services for the website and for our homebound members.
Name Tag Sunday Helpers Help set up and serve treats and coffee.
Christian Education
Sunday School Teachers Teach a Sunday School class from 9:00-9:45 a.m.
Vacation Bible School Assist with set-up, registration, crafts, games, small group leadership, music, teaching, and food during Vacation Bible School, held for one week each summer.
Youth Group Assist with youth group activities.
Elected and Appointed Leadership
Board of Elders Assists the called staff with the spiritual needs and the worship life of the congregation; elected from the Voters Assembly.
Board of Evangelism Guides congregational efforts in missions and evangelism; elected from the Voters’ Assembly.
Board of Stewardship Guides and oversees the financial assets of the congregation and promotes scripturally-informed stewardship of God-given resources; elected from the Voters’ Assembly.
Board of Trustees Oversees the maintenance and upkeep of the physical property of the congregation; elected from the Voter’s Assembly.
Board of Education Oversees the maintenance and upkeep of the physical property of the congregation; elected from the Voters’ Assembly.
Board of Social Concerns Oversees the congregations’ outreach in the congregation and the community; elected from the Voters’ Assembly.
Fellowship & Service
Lutheran Women's Missionary League Women of all ages join together once a month for fellowship, service, and Bible study in affiliation LWML. Bake and craft sales held twice a year to benefit a mission.
Men’s Breakfast Bible Study A group of men that meet once a week at 8:30 am on Saturdays for breakfast and Bible study.
Senior Group A group of our senior members that meets once a month for a potluck lunch, fellowship, and a Bible study.
