Redeemer Lutheran Church Block Party Recap
Redeemer Lutheran Church in Lawrence, Kansas recently enjoyed a joyful Block Party, and we are grateful for everyone who came out and made the evening such a blessing. The event was held on Saturday, September 19, from 4:30 to 7:00 PM, and it brought together members, neighbors, students, families, and guests for a relaxed time of fellowship. With local food trucks, desserts, drinks, outdoor games, and fun for all ages, the evening gave our congregation and community a simple opportunity to enjoy one another’s company.
Events like this matter because the Christian life is not lived in isolation. The Church is gathered by Christ around His Word and gifts, and then that shared life overflows into hospitality, friendship, and care for the neighbor. A Block Party may seem ordinary, but ordinary moments often become meaningful when people are welcomed, conversations begin, and new relationships are formed.

The Block Party included food, treats, drinks, and outdoor games, making it a welcoming event for people of all ages. We are thankful for the local food trucks and all who helped provide a cheerful atmosphere for the evening.
